TRAFFIC CLASSIFICATION

TRAILS ISLAND SOUND AI devices are not only able to count vehicles allowing to apply adaptive lighting norm (EN 13201) but are also able to recognize on each single streetlamp where they are applied:

  • Light Vehicles
  • Heavy Duty Vehicles
  • Motorcycles

NOISE MAPPING

TRAILS ISLAND Sound AI device is a Class 2 equivalent sound level meter (IEC 61672 Standard), thanks to this function it allows to:

  • To Measure sound levels in equivalent db in each single installed device, in a continuous in time manner
  • To Generate sound level maps, available through TRAILS CITY platform
  • To Highlight sound critical areas after the definition of sound level threshold with clients

TRAILS adoption is an effective way to know Municipalities real sound levels building an effective mean to eventually fight noise pollution phoenomenon

SAFETY WARNING

TRAILS system ability to recognize and classify sound events allows to identify between others:

  • Ambulance Sound
  • People Screams
  • Car Crashes
  • Potholes

Thanks to TRAILS CITY platform, the recognition of potential dangerous events for the community or for the minicipality traffic planning is reported to our end customers, that might in turn share it with authorities or city traffic planners.

SPREAD WEATHER MONITORING

TRAILS LCS ability to reckon sound allows to detect weather disturbances with the main aim to ensure maximum safety levels through streetlights dimming, but permitting to also measure their:

  • Intensity
  • Duration

By setting critical thresholds in terms of intensity and duration in selected TRAILS application areas, as they could be locations subject to landslides, TRAILS CITY platform is able to supply localized alerts to our end customers or authorities signalling dangerous weather conditions.

Trails is GDPR compliant by design

Sound information itself is not easily allowing to trace back people identity. Furthermore, TRAILS ISLAND SOUND AI systems are only creating and storing sound classifications thanks to neural networks elaborations, they do not collect sound audio information. The information classified through machine learning adopting artificial intelligence models is anonymized by definition.
